ABOUT PPSU

Local 1893 of the Professional Porch Sitters Union began on June 26, 2014 on a porch on Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ.
Our Local's motto is: "Just Sit for a Minute"
Membership is open to all.

In accordance with Union bylaws, we adhere to the following Rules and Regulations:
  • No Rules
  • No Regulations
  • No Agendas
  • No Dues
  • No Committees
  • No Scheduled Meetings
  • No Membership Requirements
  • No Meeting Minutes

National History:
The Professional Porch Sitters Union was founded in Louisville, KY in 1999, with Local 1339, by avid porch sitter Crow Hollister, with the motto is "Sit down a spell. That can wait."
Since then, many other PPSU Locals have formed nationally, including:

PPSU Local 41916 - Fort Collins, CO
PPSU Local 150 - Waterville, ME
PPSU Local 1881 - Mountainair, NM
PPSU Local 244 - Location Unknown
PPSU Local 138 - Westbrook, CT

  3. I realize there are no rules but hire fires one set up an official chapter of the union?
